On Friday December 11, MAE Stage Productions will produce an intimate theater concert in the theme of Purple Friday. On this national holiday, solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community is shown, both by wearing the color purple and hoisting the rainbow flag. This is especially important in secondary schools and within GSAs (Gay-Straight Alliances). Now we are bringing this concept to the theater.

By means of auditions a 'cast' has been composed of different singers from different genres. Each participant will be allowed to sing 1-2 songs (solo) on this special evening. The repertoire will come from different genres (musical, pop, rock, rap, soul) but of course all fit nicely within the theme "Purple Friday". The numbers are chosen in consultation with the participants, where they are advised by a panel of members from the LGBTQ+ community. Thus, the voice of the community will be strengthened through this concert!
